Greetings Nobles and Ladies,
Things are still on the fast track here at Hadji. Since the last issue, we have had the Children’s Easter Party, which was well planned and attended. Thank you, Oriental Guide Jesse Karisny and Lady Nancy. Most of our Units participated, from YOSHI to the Oriental Band to the Director’s Staff and the Misfits. Thank you, Untouchables, for feeding the masses. The Daughters of the Nile had their canvas and making handprints from the children. These are posted on the walls in the office and are cherished keepsakes. Thanks to all of the other Units who helped make it a great Hadji memory.
The highlight of the year, other than being installed as your Potentate for 2024, was the Hadji Nobility Ball. First Lady Donna and I were overwhelmed by the participation from our Nobility as well as the visiting Potentates and Nobility. Both Friday and Saturday were nights that we will never forget. Thanks to all of you who assisted with the planning, decorating, food and attendance. Thank you all for making our Anniversary and Ball a weekend we will never forget.
Several of us attended the Dixie Shrine Associations meeting in Panama City where our own Illustrious Sir Chris Saul was elected as the 2nd Vice President for the upcoming year. The Membership and Marketing Conference will have been held and was attended by our Membership Committee. Money for our Transportation Fund was raised at a Blue Wahoo’s Baseball game. If you are interested in assisting with this, please contact Assistant Rabban Bobbly Gean for more information. Also happening in early May is the Director’s Staff Golf Tournament, Untouchable’s Crawdi-Gras Crawfish Boil, and the Golf Units Putt Putt Tournament.
Just a reminder that the May Stated Session will be held one week early on May 20th due to the 4th Monday falling on Memorial Day. Please make plans to attend and to also attend your Lodge meetings!
Yours in Faith,
Illustrious Sir Bruce Stewart
